You seem to have gone through an awful lot with a lot of heartache... I started dialysis when I was 12, about 14 years ago, and have had 2 transplants which have failed.. chronic rejection... I've also had cataract surgery in my left eye.. I was 23 at the time, so it was all prednisone.. I have another in my right eye, but I've decided not to have it removed.. I had the general instead of the local when I had it done, though.. don't think I could watch what the doctor was doing.... I love your site.. you obviously put a lot of work into it... I am still using my cadaver transplant that was installed in August 1986. Creatinine has been a steady 1.2 the whole time. There has never been a rejection; my doctor once told me I was a "text book" case. You, on the other hand, are a text book case for what can go wrong! I wish for you the best...YOU DESERVE IT!
